Industrial Crew Lead (Hydrovac Excavation)

Supervise field hydrovac excavation operations for construction and industrial clients, leading a small crew to deliver professional, efficient, and damage-free work while meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily job planning and execution
• Operate and oversee hydrovac equipment and field activities
• Ensure correct site setup and safe excavation practices
• Direct excavation around underground utilities to prevent damage
• Complete job documentation and maintain accurate records
• Train and support new crew members
• Communicate with customers and provide clear field updates
• Support continuous improvement and uphold company safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven field leadership experience in industrial/construction excavation environments
• Strong knowledge of hydrovac operations and underground utility locating/avoidance practices
